Commando Leopard

Enrique Carrasco returns to his homeland to lead the rebel group against the dictatorship. The squad includes Smithy, a British mercenary, and Maria, a native ex-medical student turned fighter. They prepare to strike a strategic target—the hydro-electric dam—to inspire a wider uprising.

Carrasco's group assaults the dam, planting explosives at a crucial point in the dam wall. After triggering the charges, a tidal surge rips through, destroying a nearby bridge carrying a government convoy.

News of the attack reaches the President, who demands the head of the secret police, Colonel Silvera, to eliminate the rebels. The government intensifies its search and uses the full might of its security apparatus to crush the uprising.

Carrasco's group arrives at an impoverished village hoping to secure medical supplies for their wounded comrades. The village leader informs them there are none, but mentions nearby priests who tend the sick.

The rebels split to maximize chances. Maria leads the wounded and a small group to seek aid from the local priests, while Carrasco, Smithy, and the rest of the fighters return toward the dam to continue the fight.

Government forces, led by Silvera's deputy, attack the village with flame-thrower armed helicopters. The assault endangers civilians and interrupts the rebels' aid-seeking mission.

Back at the site of the destroyed dam, Carrasco discovers the government has already built a pontoon bridge and is recovering the sunken supply convoy. He and Smithy improvise a new strike by placing time bombs on submerged trucks to destroy the convoy again.

Carrasco and Smithy plant the bombs on the submerged trucks and detonate them from the river. The pressure wave knocks Smithy unconscious and he surfaces, but is captured by government forces.

Carrasco narrowly escapes capture with the help of an elderly friend and his men, who arrive in a truck at the last moment. He evades pursuing soldiers and returns to continue the fight.

Smithy is imprisoned in the capital's political prison alongside other detainees. He learns that a plot is brewing to free the political prisoners, hinting at future resistance against the regime.
