Cholera Street

In a crime-ridden Istanbul neighborhood known as Cholera Street, Tina arrives and begins prostitution. Reis, a gangster, moves to take control through intimidation and corruption. Salih, a mechanic, and his friend Arap Sado watch as a power struggle unfolds.

Reis seizes a horse stable, driving the owner to suicide. Arap Sado, Salih's ally, challenges Reis to a knife duel to resist his rule. The duel marks the first direct confrontation between Salih's circle and Reis.

A prostitute is murdered, her genitals cut out, sparking fear of a serial killer called the Cholera Monster. The neighborhood unsettles as whispers spread and people grow wary of venturing outside. The atmosphere of danger intensifies the feud between Salih and Reis.

Reis' gunmen target Sado in a drive-by shooting, mortally wounding him. Sado dies in Salih's arms, passing on his prized pocket knife as a final gesture. The death deepens Salih's resolve to challenge Reis.

Reis opens a casino to consolidate power and dominate the neighborhood. During the casino's opening, Salih and Reis clash on the street as crowds defy Reis and side with Salih. The public shift strengthens Salih's standing as Reis's rival.

Tina invites Salih into her life and they become a couple. Salih urges Tina to give up prostitution to stabilize their income. Tina's vow to change her life foreshadows renewed tension over money and loyalty.

The Cholera Monster acts again, murdering Zehra, the brothel madam, on Salih's watch. Reis leverages the killing to paint Salih as unable to protect the neighborhood. Public opinion turns further against Salih as fear spreads.

Tina returns home late and faces Salih's suspicions. The Cholera Monster assaults Tina, but Salih manages to subdue the attacker and protect her. The incident tests their fragile relationship amid ongoing danger.

Nihat, Tina's former pimp, provokes Reis and assaults Tina at a wedding, slashing her cheek. Salih pursues Nihat, kills him, and cuts off his cheek in revenge. The brutal act escalates the feud between Salih and Reis.

A corrupt police chief, paid by Reis, arrests Salih to force a confession. Reis then approaches Tina and offers to secure Salih's release if she grants herself to him. Tina hesitates as she weighs loyalty against survival.

Salih returns home to find Tina in bed with Reis, a devastating betrayal. He cuts himself and bleeds to death as the despair overwhelms him. Tina's collusion with Reis seals a tragic turn for both lovers.

In a final act of revenge, Tina drives Reis's car away and detonates it, killing both Reis and herself. The explosion ends the cycle of violence on Cholera Street. The neighborhood's bloodshed concludes with this explosive turn.
