Sameer arrives at the old man's secluded mountain home as a fierce snowstorm rages outside. He is introduced to the unlikely circle: Jagdish the retired judge, Bhullar the defence counsel, Anna the house help, Hariya the hangman, and soon Lateef the sharp prosecutor. Lateef hints that the gathering could become a practical game, and the others agree to participate.

Lateef privately tests Sameer, declaring him the perfect subject for their mock-trial game. The group values Lateef's opinion and agrees to include him in the proceedings. The stage is set for a tense, self-contained courtroom within the house.

Ex-convict Joe Matthews arrives and takes his place in the circle. Jagdish explains that he once handed down a judgment against Joe for killing the man who assaulted his sister. The group nods, knowing Joe's presence adds a dangerous edge to the mock trial.

They convert the gathering into a courtroom and announce a mock trial. Sameer agrees to be the defendant since Anna did not prepare a case. Bhullar warns that charging him without a real crime could give the prosecutor too much freedom, but Sameer insists on proceeding uncharged.

Before the proceedings fully begin, Sameer meets Bhullar to discuss his strategy. He insists he has committed no crime and thus has nothing to answer for. Bhullar cautions that defending him without a charge could still invite manipulations in the mock courtroom.

Lateef questions Sameer about his professional life and affairs. Sameer answers honestly at first, but Lateef astutely uncovers an affair with his boss's wife. He then contends that Sameer conspired to kill in order to secure the CEO position.

The judge signals that charges will be framed and the mock trial shifts toward a real prosecution. The defense is given time to prepare for the ensuing case, blurring the line between game and reality. The tension in the room grows as the stakes rise.

During a break, Sameer learns Hariya is a retired hangman and that Joe is Anna's brother. The revelation unsettles him and he fears the group's true intentions. A desperate escape attempt is blocked by Joe, deepening his sense of entrapment.

Lateef presents a CCTV video from Sameer's phone showing his affair with Natasha and his involvement in a conspiracy to kill the boss's wife. Bhullar and Lateef argue passionately as the evidence sways the proceeding toward a guilty verdict. The court pronounces a capital punishment sentence.

Facing the verdict, Sameer pulls a gun, threatens the group, and grabs the DVR of the CCTV feed. He bolts from the house as others pursue him, managing to destroy the recording in a frantic scramble. The chase spills outside into the cliffside darkness.

In the chaotic pursuit, Sameer loses his balance and falls off a cliff to his death. His demise serves a grim twist of fate, echoing the moral weight of the proceedings. The others watch in stunned silence as the game ends with tragedy.

A few days later Natasha visits to collect Sameer's phone, which has become company property. The group convinces Natasha to participate in their game and, subtly, continue their risky, morally ambiguous experiment. The cycle of the game ends with a hint that it will go on.
