Chandramohan announces his plan to sell the mansion to pay off heavy debts. Nagendran opposes the sale, highlighting the deep feud between the Mallanchira and Kattappilly clans that has filled Chattambinadu with trouble.

The local power struggle heats up as Nagendran tries to thwart the sale. Chandramohan and Lakshmi coax Mallayya to consider purchasing the property; after Lakshmi pleads, Mallayya agrees to buy the mansion, setting up a clash with Nagendran.

Mallayya arrives at Chattambinadu along with his secretary Murukan, triggering a wary welcome from Vadival Vasu and his daughters Gowri and Meenakshi. The locals brace for the new power dynamic as tensions simmer.

Dashamoolam Damu steals Mallayya's lorry and drives it into Vasu's house, demolishing it. Mallayya publicly promises to repair the damage with his own money, attempting to win favour and expose the attacker.

Murugan, who has grown fond of Meenakshi, brings her and Gowri to Mallayya's house along with Maakri Gopalan, weaving new personal bonds in the village. The arrival deepens the entanglement of relationships among the families.

Lakshmi arrives on vacation and learns that Nagendran intends to marry her without parental consent. She witnesses Nagendran brutally thrashing her fiancé, who then flees in panic. Mallayya pledges his support to Lakshmi.

Gowri overhears the conversation and mistakes it for a love triangle between Mallayya and Lakshmi. Her jealousy grows because she herself has fallen for Mallayya.

During a candid talk, Mallayya confesses to Vasu that he is Veeru, the Kannadiga street urchin Unnithan once sheltered. The revelation explains the long-standing feuds and why Mallayya fights to clear his name.

Unnithan had found and cared for Veeru after he helped steal money from Kuruppu during a trip. When Unnithan is wounded, Kuruppu accuses Veeru of his death, forcing Veeru to flee.

The police arrest Veeru on charges that he killed Unnithan, based on Kuruppu's manipulations. Realizing the setup, Veeru escapes from custody by plunging into a river to vanish.

Chandramohan reveals that Unnithan is alive but paralysed and unable to speak after the earlier attack. His presence hints at a possible route to truth for Mallayya.

Nagendran presses ahead with marrying Lakshmi, but Mallayya intervenes to secure her happiness by having her married to her fiancé instead. The village braces for the fallout of this intervention.

An elderly police inspector, who is the fiancé's father, pledges to help uncover the truth behind the feud. Nagendran murders him on the same night, escalating the violence in Chattambinadu.

The people finally realize that Mallayya is Veeru and mobilize to kill him. He uses the truth to prove his innocence, and in a climactic turn, Nagendran is killed by the public.
