In 1991, Anna Marshall watches the news as Russian President Mikhail S. Gorbachev announces his resignation. This event marks a significant turning point in Russian history, setting the stage for future political changes.

Suddenly, Anna’s peaceful evening is interrupted by a masked intruder breaking into her home. Wearing a wolf mask, the intruder is overwhelmed by Anna, who tases him and restrains him in her bedroom.

As Anna confronts the restrained attacker, he reveals himself to be a neo-Nazi with questions regarding a secret mission she undertook after World War II. This encounter sets off a series of revelations about her past.

The narrative shifts back to 1945 Poland, where Anna, going by the name Brana Vasilyeva, is part of a covert operation with Russian soldiers. Their mission is to transport Hitler's corpse to Stalin in Moscow, a task fraught with danger.

While on their mission, Brana and her unit discover they are being pursued by Nazis disguised in wolf skins. These antagonists are determined to seize Hitler’s remains for their own malevolent purposes, escalating the tension.

After a near-miss after an initial attack, Brana's unit stops for the night in a forest. As their commander visits a local tavern, Brana's instincts tell her something is off, prompting her to investigate.

At the tavern, Brana saves a young woman in distress and meets Lukasz, who becomes pivotal in the unfolding chaos. The meeting promises to intertwine their fates amidst the surrounding turmoil.

The werewolf Nazis launch a second attack, resulting in the deaths of several of Brana's comrades. The survivors are forced to flee without the coffin, thrusting them further into danger as loyalties are tested.

Brana turns to Lukasz for safety, and he guides them to the home of an elderly couple. Initially unsure about the Russians, the couple comes to understand the dire significance of the coffin they protect.

As chaos unfolds, Cpt. Vadim Ilyasov is captured by the Nazis, and Tor Oleynik confronts a tavern girl about the war's impact on their lives. Their moment is abruptly ended as the Nazis kill the girl, amplifying the stakes.

Brana and Lukasz work to hide Hitler's corpse in a nearby church. During a moment of tension, Lukasz reveals his true identity, and they share a brief connection amidst their grim circumstances.

The Nazis, tipped off by an informant, launch a ferocious assault on the elderly couple's home housing the Russians. A desperate firefight ensues, showcasing the brutality and desperation of the situation.

As the battle escalates, both sides incur heavy casualties. The Russians regroup and storm the church, where they confront the Nazis, leading to a fierce confrontation and the church eventually catching fire.

Brana and Lukasz emerge from the fiery aftermath, forever changed by their experiences. Their survival indicates the resilience of the human spirit even in the darkest of times as they prepare to share their harrowing story.

Back in 1991, Anna confronts the neo-Nazi captive, revealing a keepsake from her dark past. Driven by vengeance over Lukasz's loss, she poisons him, leaving the audience with lingering mysteries about her past.
