Facing the brutal onset of puberty after his father's death, a young teen is placed in an orphanage where his stutter makes him a target of mockery. On the verge of running away, he meets Yasuo, a strikingly beautiful androgynous boy who persuades him to join the choir, offering a chance for belonging and a voice beyond his fear.
