Boredom claims much of life—beauty, love, work can feel too little to rise from bed. The film follows a strawberry‑pie factory girl, a desert nomad, a Wall Street broker, a former WWII spy, a painter who spent 42 years capturing Time, and a school shooter who wounded eleven children, killed two adults, and declared ‘I don’t like Mondays.’ John Malkovich narrates the inner bored human, asking how many share it.
