Black Moon Rising

Sam Quint, a former thief, begins his mission to retrieve a crucial computer disk from The Lucky Dollar Corporation. He operates under the FBI's guidance, aiming to gather damaging evidence against the corporation based in Las Vegas.

After successfully acquiring the disk, Quint becomes the target of Marvin Ringer, another ex-thief tied to the corporation. Ringer's relentless pursuit adds immediate danger to Quint's mission.

Earl Windom tests the Black Moon, a revolutionary vehicle capable of reaching speeds of 325 MPH using just tap water. This vehicle becomes central to the unfolding events as its capabilities are showcased.

Quint and Windom cross paths at a gas station where Quint hides the stolen disk in the rear bumper of the Black Moon. This unexpected collaboration becomes Quint's only hope of evading Ringer.

Arriving in Los Angeles, Quint confronts FBI agent Johnson, demanding double pay and a valid passport due to Ringer's escalating threat. Tensions rise as Quint realizes his precarious situation.

Quint unexpectedly encounters Windom again at an upscale restaurant where negotiations for the Black Moon's sale are taking place. This meeting sets the stage for further complications.

Chaos erupts at the restaurant when a gang of auto thieves, led by Nina, steals the Black Moon right from under Quint's nose. This theft sparks a frantic chase that leads Quint to a sprawling parking garage.

Back at the restaurant, Johnson stresses the urgency of retrieving the disk within three days, or the case against The Lucky Dollar will collapse. Quint feels the pressure, knowing failure means no pay.

Desperate to reclaim the Black Moon, Quint approaches Windom for assistance, but their plan to involve the police is swiftly dismissed. Quint decides to take matters into his own hands.

Quint acquires blueprints of the Nyland Towers, which serve as a chop shop for stolen cars run by Ed Nyland. He follows Nina from the Towers, leading to a budding yet complicated relationship.

During their investigation, one of Windom’s team is brutally killed by Nyland's thugs. This tragedy unites Quint and Windom, reinforcing their determination to gather evidence against Nyland.

As the tension rises, Ringer bears down on Quint, demanding the return of the stolen disk. A fierce confrontation occurs, but Ringer narrowly escapes, raising the stakes even higher.

Quint discovers that Nina is imprisoned by Nyland, labeled a traitor for her actions. He bravely rescues her, and together they plot to reclaim the Black Moon and confront Nyland.

Following a series of thrilling escapades, including a chase that sees the Black Moon crashing through a building, Quint and Nina create chaos for Nyland and his gang.

In a climactic showdown, Quint faces Ringer once more and emerges victorious, reclaiming the disk just as Agent Johnson arrives. After pocketing his pay, Quint decides to step away from the FBI.
