Bio Zombie

Woody Invincible and Crazy Bee are two young men operating a small stall in the New Trend Plaza Mall, selling bootlegged VCDs. They often spend their time gambling and engaging in petty theft from nearby shops. Their lives intersect with other mall employees and shop owners, establishing their daily routines.

Woody and Bee meet Rolls, a beauty parlor employee, leading to interactions that involve further encounters with Kui, the cellphone store owner. Rolls also frequently visits a sushi bar within the mall, where she flirts with waiter Loi, who becomes smitten with her. These connections set up relationships and tensions in the story.

Meanwhile, black market dealers sell a bioweapon to three government agents, demonstrating its zombie-creating effects using a test subject. The zombie escapes, kills two agents, and causes chaos, highlighting the danger of the bioweapon. A sample of the substance is inadvertently ingested by Woody after he hits a survivor with a car.

Thinking he needs a drink, Woody drinks the bioweapon sample inside a soft drink bottle. This action inadvertently exposes him to the zombie virus, causing him to become infected with the bioweapon's effects. The infected agent then slips away, dropping his cellphone in the process.

Woody sells the recovered cellphone to Kui, but still lacks money to fix his car. He and Bee then steal money and a ring from Rolls. Rolls, suspicious of the theft, asks Woody to find the robbers in exchange for a free meal, planning to use alcohol to extract a confession.

At the sushi bar, Woody and Rolls get drunk, then go to the bathroom together, where Loi follows them. Loi, alarmed, is attacked and turned into a zombie, and manages to warn Woody and Rolls about the zombie outbreak before being overtaken.

Loi transforms into a zombie and captures Rolls. The zombie agent retrieves his cellphone from Kui's shop, leading Kui to accuse Woody and Bee of theft. The situation escalates as security guard Ox calls the police to contain the chaos.

Two police officers question Kui, Woody, and Bee. Suspicious behavior leads to Woody and Bee being handcuffed. Officer #3001 searches for witnesses while Officer #9466 is attacked and killed by Loi, and another zombie is killed by police, causing further mayhem.

Fighting their way through zombies, Woody, Rolls, and Jelly try to escape the mall as Loi is distracted fighting other zombies. They hide in the beauty parlor after the mall's shutter is remotely closed, trapping everyone inside amidst the chaos.

Woody rescues Rolls from zombies while Loi struggles to fend them off. The group attempts to escape via an elevator, but it’s too heavy. Kui sacrifices himself to save Jelly, who is then killed by zombies along with Mrs. and Mr. Kui, escalating the chaos.

Woody and Rolls fight their way through the zombie-infested parking garage to reach Woody's boss’s car. Loi helps by lifting the shutter and pushing the car out, allowing them a chance to escape the mall and the zombie threat.

At a gas station, Woody searches for a working phone but finds a broadcast warning about soft drinks containing the bioweapon. He realizes the soft drink Rolls is drinking from might be contaminated, connecting to his earlier ingestion of the substance.

Woody observes Rolls drinking from the soft drink bottle. Recognizing the danger, he re-enters the car and drinks the remainder of the soft drink, sealing his fate and further exposing himself to the bioweapon’s effects, completing the story's escalation.
