Beyond Witch Mountain

Bené leads Tia and Tony as Deranian and Foreman close in with tranquilizer darts. Bené reverses the darts mid-air, sparing the kids while Foreman is struck. Deranian bolts away into the trees, signaling the start of a dangerous pursuit.

In the dim woods, Bené explains that he left Witch Mountain to locate his long-lost grandson, Gregory. He shares a vision of Gregory using telekinesis to move a log and save drowning children. The revelation reframes the danger and purpose of their journey.

Tia and Tony insist they can help, and Bené reluctantly agrees. The trio sets up camp in the woods for the night and begins drawing a cabin in the dirt with a stick as a symbol of home. This moment binds them to a shared mission.

Bené reveals that his time on Earth has come to an end. As he passes away and his body evaporates, he urges Tia and Tony to seek help at the cabin to locate Gregory. The children process their loss while the quest moves forward.

The next morning, the kids discover the cabin belongs to Jason O’Day and reunite with him. Jason reluctantly agrees to help them find Gregory after learning Bolt is still pursuing them. The reunion shifts their plan from escape to coordinated rescue.

Bolt, now aware of the children’s escape, sends Deranian to bring Jason to him and lure the kids into a trap. The plan escalates the danger as Deranian closes in on their new ally. The family prepares to stay one step ahead.

During a shopping trip, Deranian and Foreman hold Jason at gunpoint and force him to drive to Bolt’s estate. Bolt drugs Jason in an attempt to extract information about the children. Jason, under the influence, reveals he has been in contact with Tia and Tony.

Winkie, Tia’s cat, leaps from Jason’s camper and telepathically informs Tia of Jason’s plight. The warning spurs the children to act and rescue their ally. The cat’s psychic aid tightens their bond and resolve.

The children hitchhike toward Bolt’s estate and unleash a telekinetic distraction inside the house. They seize Jason and slip away into the night, escaping Bolt’s residence amid the confusion. The trio vanishes into the darkness with their ally.

The trio escapes with Jason and heads to a hospital to retrieve Gregory, who has been under observation. They escort him out and begin explaining Witch Mountain and their people. Gregory, having had visions of rescue, eagerly agrees to be returned to his community.

Jason brings Tia, Tony, and Gregory to the woods near Witch Mountain, and they start walking toward the colony. Gregory feels drawn to his people, while the others reflect on what home means. They remain prepared for further dangers.

As they near Witch Mountain, Tony and Tia decide to search for other survivors from their world, not just return to the colony. Jason agrees to help locate more survivors, expanding Witch Mountain’s reach. Gregory continues toward Witch Mountain with the hope of joining his people.
