Following a distress signal from a research vessel, a U.S. Space Force rescue ship is dispatched to Pandora, a moon orbiting Saturn. Upon attempting to land, the crew makes a startling discovery: Pandora is home to a technologically advanced humanoid species. The mission quickly shifts from rescue to first contact, raising questions about the intentions of the inhabitants and the potential consequences for both civilizations.
