E. Vishwanath, commonly shortened to Vishwa, is a suave but principled con artist who believes in “thieving from the thieves” as a way to rebalance greed by fooling the rich. His world of clever schemes is upended when a mysterious woman named Jahnavi arrives with concrete evidence of his past frauds and a bold proposition.
Jahnavi lays out a plan to target three men she identifies as the architects of widespread misery: Makrandam, the antique dealer; Seshagiri, a ruthless financier; and Bhale Babu, a power-hungry operator with his sights set on greater influence. Her pitch is simple in theory but dangerous in practice: mastermind a massive con against each of them as a form of vengeance, and do it without taking a single fee for himself.
To execute this scheme, Vishwa recruits his actor friend, nicknamed Tellabbai (the “White/pure guy”), and leverages Jahnavi’s expertise with cameras to stage a sequence of carefully crafted deceptions. They begin with Makrandam, who is eager to seize a supposed treasure and buys land to dig for it. The target and his assistant, [Srinivas Avasarala]—though not named here, the character is Chikati Rao in the plan—enter a trap built around a chest said to hold the zamindar’s wealth. They uncover only shredded paper and a tape recorder claiming they’ve been duped. Vishwa and Tellabbai then use a concoction to knock them out and pull them from the pit, humiliating them on live television. Makrandam’s one weakness—recognizing Vishwa’s face—lands him in a moment of exposure and shame.
Next, the plan targets Seshagiri. Posing as an American businessman, Vishwa tests Seshagiri’s arrogance by requesting a 10 crore check with extra验 permission steps. Seshagiri, overconfident, watches the bank process slowly spiral into chaos. The arrangement is transformed into a charitable donation in a spectacular public display, which leaves him politically vulnerable, especially as the chief minister, who resents missing out on the funds, cancels a high-stakes hydropower project that would have benefited his administration. The fallout forces Seshagiri to reconsider his position and he reluctantly aligns with Makrandam to seek retaliation.
The final target is Bhale Babu, whom Vishwa convinces to run in local elections and to hire him as his campaign manager. Bhale Babu’s ambitions to become Prime Minister and a secret affair become leverage in their hands. Their main rival is Parvathalu, a principled newspaper editor Parvathalu who denounces Bhale Babu’s rowdy tactics in print. To stop Parvathalu, Bhale Babu and Vishwa engineer a plan to seize his campaign materials and manipulate a press conference by swapping the campaign videos with incriminating footage. The scheme encounters a snag when Chikati Rao, who has been tailing Vishwa, confronts the ringleader. Yet Vishwa anticipated this moment and plants the original footage back into the bag, enabling him to slip away.
As the web tightens, Makrandam and Seshagiri confront Satyanarayana’s household, threatening violence, only to discover they are being recorded. Vishwa reveals that Parvathalu and the others were merely puppets in a larger, orchestrated ruse. The duo ultimately backs down, recognizing that Satyanarayana was wronged, and they seal the change by establishing a charitable foundation in his name. In a final, personal revelation, Vishwa discloses that his own parents were victims of the original chit fund scam, which explains his decision to reject personal gain. With a renewed sense of purpose, he returns to his life of fraud—but this time with a mission to redirect it toward a larger, more meaningful cause.
