When Nancy and her teenage son relocate to the quaint, old‑fashioned town of Deerview, they discover it’s anything but ordinary. As the only woman who prefers a joke to a boiled egg, Nancy stages a mother‑son football match that pairs the town’s unathletic housewives with eager kids, sparking uproarious laughter throughout the community.
