Austin Powers in Goldmember

In 2002, Dr. Evil unveils his latest scheme to his minions in a hidden lair behind the Hollywood sign. His plot involves traveling back to 1975 to resurrect Johan Van Der Smut, aka Goldmember, to harness a tractor beam named 'Preparation H' for his sinister purposes.

Just after Dr. Evil's plot revelation, Austin Powers and the British Secret Service infiltrate the lair and capture Dr. Evil. Austin is knighted for his bravery, but feels a sense of loss when his father, Nigel Powers, does not attend the ceremony.

At a celebration party, Austin enjoys a performance by Ming Tea but receives distressing news from Basil Exposition. His father has been kidnapped, and a peculiar clue about his yacht crew having their genitalia painted gold leads him to suspect Dr. Evil's involvement.

Determined to rescue his father, Austin visits a prison-bound Dr. Evil, who reveals Goldmember is behind Nigel's abduction. Austin travels back to 1975, where he infiltrates Goldmember's roller disco, Studio 69, and reunites with undercover agent Foxxy Cleopatra.

Austin and Foxxy's efforts to rescue Nigel are thwarted when Goldmember captures him, dragging him back to 2002 through Dr. Evil's time machine. A gold-clad henchman is left behind to eliminate Austin, increasing the stakes of the rescue mission.

While Austin and Foxxy strategize, chaos unfolds in the present as Dr. Evil and Mini-Me orchestrate a prison escape. Their antics cause mayhem, allowing them to establish a new base of operations in a colossal submarine designed in Dr. Evil's likeness.

Austin and Foxxy travel to Tokyo where they confront Fat Bastard, who has transformed into an enormous sumo wrestler. After a comical duel, Foxxy captures him, leading to the revelation of Mr. Roboto's involvement with Dr. Evil and Goldmember.

Austin and Foxxy infiltrate a factory where Goldmember's car is being prepared with a command unit for the tractor beam. Despite their efforts to stop him, Goldmember escapes with the crucial device, thwarting Austin's chances of finding his father.

Tension escalates between Nigel and Austin as they argue over how to proceed with their mission. Simultaneously, Scott Evil's desperation for his father's approval leads him down a darker path, culminating in his plot involving sharks armed with laser beams.

Austin, Foxxy, and Mini-Me execute a daring infiltration of the submarine but Austin is ultimately captured. As Dr. Evil prepares to unleash his catastrophic weapon, Foxxy cleverly steals the key, allowing Austin to break free and confront his nemesis.

In a shocking turn of events, Austin is confronted with a revelation from Nigel: he and Dr. Evil are actually brothers, separated at birth after an assassination attempt. This family reunion adds emotional depth to Austin's quest and motivates them to work together.

Together, Austin and Dr. Evil devise a plan to reverse the tractor beam's polarity to prevent a meteor from devastating Earth. They manage to disarm Goldmember and save the planet from impending doom, showcasing an unlikely alliance.

As the adventure concludes, Goldmember humorously breaks the fourth wall, revealing that their escapades have been dramatized in a film by Steven Spielberg. This meta twist adds humor and charm, illustrating the franchise's comedic style.

As Austin and Foxxy exit the theater, they bump into Fat Bastard, who appears significantly slimmer after a new diet. This comic relief ties back to the earlier conflict and keeps the tone light-hearted as the story wraps up.
