Rajaram, the owner of a fleet of lorries, meets Devi, a garment factory owner. After this acquaintance, she seeks his help against two street ruffians who were teasing her sisters, Latha and Geetha, and is shocked to discover that the culprits are his brothers, Ravi and Gopi. Rajaram initially treats the incident as a harmless prank and remains lenient toward them, but repeated troubles push the siblings toward greater responsibility. As incidents pile up, the romance between Rajaram and Devi grows, with the siblings watching from the wings and quietly shaping the family’s path.

Encouraged by his brothers, Rajaram approaches Devi to seek consent for marrying Devi’s sisters to his brothers. Devi curtly refuses, arguing the two are wayward and often drunk. Rajaram reacts sharply and vows to secure the matches anyway, determined to prove himself. From then on, he becomes more exacting with his brothers and works to bring about real change in them. Devi, meanwhile, eventually agrees to the marriages. But the incorrigible brothers arrive at their engagement in a drunken state, and Devi’s ire is directed squarely at Rajaram. She insults him and leaves with her sisters, and an outraged Rajaram kicks his brothers out of the home, setting off a sharper test of loyalties and love.

The two brothers, now poised as engineers with strong academic records, win the favor of Rangarao, a shrewd businessman who takes them on. True to his generous nature, Rajaram sells off a portion of his property and quietly funds Rangarao, paving the way for a partnership between Rangarao and the brothers. But the brothers, unaware of the hidden sacrifice behind this move, nurse a grievance and insult Devi in Rajaram’s presence. Devi, who understands the sacrifice, slaps them and helps open their eyes, sparking a genuine transformation in their attitudes. The repentant brothers then go to Rangarao to seek a way to restore the property to Rajaram, hoping to set things right.

Rangarao has his own agenda and plots to eliminate them with goons. The brothers narrowly escape death and end up hospitalized with injuries. A furious Rajaram confronts Rangarao, who reveals his true identity: he is the brother of Chinna Rao, a criminal who was caught in a police dragnet with Rajaram’s help and who later died. This revelation fuels Rangarao’s vendetta, intensifying the confrontation. In the ensuing clash, Rangarao is killed, and the brothers begin to rebuild their bond with Rajaram.

The finale ties together three weddings: [Rajaram] and Devi, Ravi with Latha, and Gopi with Geetha, bringing the family full circle in a celebration of forgiveness, growth, and renewed unity. The film closes on a note of reconciliation and shared happiness, underscoring themes of sacrifice, responsibility, and the enduring strength of familial ties.
