Dr. Indran, a renowned psychiatrist, is almost fatally shot by a violent patient. He survives, but his entire family is massacred. The trauma shatters his voice and his medical license, pinning him on a path of personal vengeance.

After the massacre, Indran abandons his traditional methods and seeks a radical new approach to treatment. He begins practicing under ongoing review by medical authorities who question his ethics. The change marks the start of a darker path fueled by his desire for vengeance.

Selvam, a blind library clerk, loses his parents and inherits his father's mansion. He has learned occult tricks from his father and uses that knowledge to cope with his new life. He struggles to maintain the mansion, fighting to keep the family legacy afloat.

To raise money for a kidney operation, Selvam agrees to perform a cleansing ritual at a haunted building. He manages to capture one spirit during the ritual, but another entity remains trapped inside. The haunting becomes a troubling reminder of the supernatural entwined with his own fate.

Vinod, a cricket coach, is wracked with guilt for his friend Pradeep's deteriorating mental health after being given an occult book. Mysterious calls begin to haunt Vinod, compounding his distress. His girlfriend Manasi urges him to seek professional help.

By the time Vinod gets a new landline, Pradeep commits suicide by jumping from a balcony. The impact of his death causes Indran to die as his body is struck by Pradeep's fall. This double tragedy triggers a dark chain of supernatural consequences.

Indran's vengeful spirit begins to torment Vinod, using a telephone that once belonged to Selvam as a conduit to communicate with the living. The calls and threats blur the line between life and death.

Pooja, sister of Pradeep and confidant to Selvam, aids Vinod by sharing crucial information about Selvam and the haunting. She becomes a bridge between the living and the mysteries surrounding Selvam and Indran.

Vinod installs a new landline hoping to escape the calls, but despair pushes him toward breaking the phone. He believes removing the instrument will silence the torment.

Pooja explains that the telephone is the key to contacting Selvam and uncovering how to banish the tormenting spirit. She points Vinod toward the occult links that bind the living to the dead.

Vinod goes to the repair shop to fix the phone, hoping to uncover a cure. He then pauses at a bridge to answer the call that could save him. Indran hypnotizes Vinod to jump, but Selvam possesses him and dismantles the phone, severing Indran's and Selvam's ties to the living.

With Pooja's information, Selvam carries out his revenge on the real estate businessman, strangling him to fulfill his final wish. Pooja completes Selvam's final wish by ensuring the act is carried out.

After securing his revenge, Selvam runs afoul of loan sharks who come to claim his father's mansion. He is killed during their attempt to seize the property.
