Fifteen years after a traumatic event in the South China Sea, Alex, a sensitive and refined man struggling with schizophrenia, finds his life at a pivotal point. Encouraged by his grandmother, his confidante, to find companionship, he unexpectedly forms a passionate relationship with a young woman also experiencing psychosis. As their bond deepens, Alex begins to push beyond his emotional limits, grappling with memories of the past and increasingly isolating himself, threatened by encroaching paranoia. It's an intimate and evocative journey exploring fragility and resilience.
