Age of Heroes

Set during World War II, the narrative follows a newly formed commando unit in the mid-1940s as they undertake a covert behind-enemy-lines operation. The period is defined by rapid military maneuvers, scarce resources, and the urgency of capturing advanced radar technology before German forces can counter. Harsh winter conditions amplify the danger and test the soldiers’ endurance.

The story spans WWII fronts from occupied France to the snowbound mountains of Norway, culminating at the neutral border with Sweden. Most of the action unfolds in rural Norwegian landscapes—frozen farms, forests, and ridge lines that test movement and concealment. A revisit to a farm where German forces previously punished locals highlights the brutal toll of occupation and the mission’s high-stakes environment.
