The story of this film centers around Shiva, a dedicated CB-CID officer played by Ajith Kumar, who is deeply committed to preventing terrorist activities. John, portrayed by Sathyan Sivakumar, is a notorious figure whose work has always sparked suspicion and suspicion without concrete evidence. Despite his notoriety, his actions remain shrouded in mystery due to the lack of witnesses to testify against him. The plot thickens when an ex-gang member turned police informant, General Ram Prasad, played by Devan, becomes a crucial link in exposing John's schemes. He encounters Narain, initially believed to be just another student, but who eventually reveals himself as Shiva's half-brother. Narain, played by Navdeep, and Pooja quickly become key figures in Shiva's life. Pooja, played by Nayanthara, is Narain's best friend, and she secretly envies the attention he receives from other girls.
