Two identical twins are born to a poor mother. A nurse and an elderly grandmother secretly swap one baby with her stillborn grandchild to spare both families pain and give each child a chance at life. The swapped babies grow up unaware of their true origins, destined to walk very different paths as Narasimha and Chari.

Narasimha grows up in a rough urban setting and becomes a fearless, street-smart undercover cop who fights for justice. He is driven by a desire to wear the badge and make a difference in a corrupt world. His quick wit and grit shape him into a protector of the vulnerable.

Chari is raised by a traditional Brahmin family and grows into a gentle, devout priest who works without pay to repay a family debt. He is guided by his eccentric guru Bhattacharya and the warmth of his adoptive mother and grandmother. His life contrasts with his brother's, yet both share a strong sense of family duty.

Bhattacharya secretly loves Chandrakala and hatches a plan to win her heart. He involves Chari in a scheme and they take Chandrakala to a pub to advance the ruse. The plot tugs Chari into a web of deceit that will entangle both brothers.

At the pub, goons harass Chandrakala while Bhattacharya flees. Narasimha arrives at the scene with his girlfriend Nandu and drives off the attackers. The tense moment blossoms into a misunderstanding about identities that will ripple through both brothers’ lives.

A terrorist group led by Dhanraj hunts down a famous army scientist who is the twins' biological father and abducts Narasimha to pressure him into building a deadly weapon.
