Abominable

The adventure begins in the bustling streets of China, where the operations of Burnish Industries take place. A mysterious yeti, previously imprisoned, breaks free and escapes into the vibrant city, evading capture from Dr. Zara and a mercenary captain.

In a quieter part of the city, 16-year-old Yi struggles with the grief of losing her father. She reflects on cherished memories while helping her family and dreams of a trip across China that she hoped to share with her dad.

While playing her violin on the rooftop, Yi is startled by helicopters searching for the yeti. Accidentally, her bow lands near the frightened creature, initially filling her with fear that soon turns to compassion as she approaches it.

The next day, Yi, armed with her Nai Nai's famous pork buns, feeds the yeti, whom she names Everest. She senses his desire to return to the mountains and decides to help heal his wounds instead of turning him in.

As Dr. Zara and her team ramp up their search for Everest, Yi takes on new responsibilities. She also begins to investigate the darker intentions behind Mr. Burnish's desperate pursuit of the yeti, stirring up tension.

As dusk falls, Yi's violin tunes coax Everest out of hiding, accidentally allowing them a moment of tranquility. However, mercenaries are hot on their trail, and just in time, Yi and Everest escape to the docks and find a ship heading for his homeland.

After fleeing on a ship, Yi, Everest, and Peng transition to a cargo truck, where they find themselves inside a crate of sodas. The truck breaks down, leaving them tumbling into rugged terrain on a mysterious island.

While hiking, Jin's hunger prompts Everest to conjure enormous blueberries for him. The giant berries cause chaos, forcing them to flee, showcasing the unpredictable magic of Everest.

Unbeknownst to the group, Burnish's surveillance drones track their every move. Jin inadvertently gets captured while trying to reunite with the others, showcasing the ever-present danger surrounding them.

Yi, feeling guilt for their dangerous situation, draws inspiration from the fish swimming against the current. This moment of introspection strengthens her resolve to help Everest and her friends escape.

After a night spent under the stars, Jin overhears Zara revealing her true motives to exploit Everest for profit. This profound discovery prompts Jin to take matters into his own hands as he attempts a daring escape.

A chaotic chase leads Yi, Peng, and Everest onto a train as they try to evade Burnish's men. Jin arrives just in time to whisk Yi away via boat, while Peng distracts their pursuers, highlighting teamwork in their journey.

Upon reaching the Sichuan Buddha statue, Yi plays her violin, invoking her father's spirit. But they are confronted by mercenaries on a shaky bridge, leading to a struggle where Everest protects his friends.

After a tense battle, an avalanche strikes, but Everest summons mystical helpers to guide them safely home. The bittersweet farewell emphasizes the growth Victor and Yi have experienced together through their adventure.

Back in the human world, Burnish returns Yi, Jin, and Peng to their families. A mysterious package from Burnish hints at future adventures, and the comforting taste of Nai Nai's pork buns serves as a reminder of their bond with Everest.
