A group of cats enjoys a warm shelter but lacks food, so when Tom the turkey arrives to start an acting career they plot to make him their Thanksgiving dinner. Nearby, a pack of dogs that guard a local restaurant has plenty to eat but is freezing. Learning of the cats’ scheme, the dogs intervene, and both sides soon discover that by cooperating they can share the turkey, keep everyone fed, and provide each other a safe place to stay.
