A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

In the town of Mossingham, John and his Border Collie Bingo spot a flying object touching down in the night. The sighting sparks rumors of alien visitors and sets off a wave of curiosity across the town. This moment kicks off the central mystery of the film.

At Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun and the flock seek to pass the time with dangerous antics, testing the limits of safety. Bitzer steps in to stop their schemes, keeping order on the farm. The incident highlights Shaun's curiosity and the need to balance fun with safety.

After being barred from having a barbecue, Shaun orders pizza for dinner. When the delivery arrives, the boxes are mysteriously empty, hinting at strange happenings. The mystery deepens as the alien encounter looms.

The next morning Shaun discovers a trail of pizza crusts leading to Lu-La, a tentacled, dog-like alien from To-Pa who can mimic sounds and levitate objects. Shaun introduces Lu-La to the flock, and her abilities quickly intrigue and unsettle them. The encounter marks the first direct contact with the extraterrestrial visitor.

Lu-La accompanies the flock to the field behind the farmhouse and uses her powers to operate the combine harvester, causing it to malfunction. Her antics transform the land into crop circles, drawing human and media attention. The mischief deepens the mystery while endearing Lu-La to Shaun.

Seizing on the alien sightings, the farmer announces Farmageddon, an alien-themed attraction designed to attract visitors and raise funds for a new harvester. He hopes the spectacle will turn curiosity into cash and repair his equipment. The plan raises the stakes as the aliens become part of the community's future.

Agent Red of the Ministry of Alien Detection becomes determined to prove aliens exist. She follows clues, watches sightings, and narrows her investigation to Mossingham. Her pursuit introduces a human antagonist who complicates the children's interaction with Lu-La.

Lu-La and Shaun track down the UFO, with Bitzer following in disguise while posting flyers for Farmageddon. They dodge authorities and keep the search alive, while the town buzzes with speculation. The chase tightens as the line between friend and foe blurs.

Onboard the UFO, Lu-La transmits memories to Shaun, revealing that she is a child who accidentally launched her parents' ship. They learn they need an egg-shaped device ejected during departure to reactivate it. The revelation raises the emotional stakes and deepens their bond.

MAD closes in and captures the UFO with Shaun, Lu-La, and Bitzer aboard, bringing them to a secret base along with the egg device. Tension mounts as the team hides their true mission while planning an escape. The base becomes a pressure cooker as the clock ticks toward flight.

Shaun and Lu-La slip away, retrieve the egg device, and reboot the ship in a bid to reach To-Pa. Shaun's impulsive button-pushing leads to a crash-landing back at the farm, destroying the UFO in the process. Lu-La is left heartbroken by the crash, while Shaun contemplates the consequences.

Feeling guilty, Shaun realizes the egg device can be used to send a distress signal if they reach a high point. He proposes climbing the Farmageddon tower with Lu-La and the flock to contact To-Pa. Red and her mecha close in as the ascent begins, heightening the danger.

With help from the flock and Bitzer, Shaun and Lu-La reach the top of the Farmageddon tower, evading Red's pursuit. Shaun activates the distress signal to To-Pa, and Ub-Do and Me-Ma hurry to reach them. A hopeful reunion follows as the aliens respond to the call.

Ub-Do and Me-Ma are welcomed by Red, who ultimately accepts the aliens after recognizing them as the beings she dreamed about as a child. The Farmageddon show earns rave reviews and the town celebrates the extraordinary rescue as part of the spectacle. The aliens realize the Farmer is aboard their UFO and decide to bring him back to Earth.

The following day, Shaun, Bitzer, and the flock play frisbee while the Farmer tests his new harvester. The frisbee becomes trapped in the harvester's machinery, triggering a dramatic explosion. The town ends on a tense note, balancing imagination with the risks of its consequences.
