A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

Lu-La is a young alien child from the planet To-Pa who accidentally launched her parents' spaceship while playing with the controls. The ship crash-landed in the Mossingham field, stranding her on Earth until she could find a way to signal her parents for rescue.

Earlier, the pizza boxes being mysteriously empty was the first clue that something unusual was visiting the farm.

Lu-La possesses telekinetic abilities that allow her to levitate objects with her mind and mimic any sound she hears. She uses these powers throughout the film to help with farm tasks and eventually to communicate and signal her parents from the tower.

The crop circles created by the malfunctioning combine harvester were caused by Lu-La practicing with her powers.

MAD (Ministry of Alien Detection) is a secretive government agency led by Agent Red that has spent years trying to prove aliens exist. When reports of UFO sightings in Mossingham surface, Red becomes obsessed with capturing the extraterrestrial visitor to prove her life's work and fulfill a childhood dream of meeting aliens.

Red's determination to find aliens was hinted at by her name and the serious tone she carried during investigations.

Farmageddon is the farmer's idea for an alien-themed amusement attraction at Mossy Bottom Farm. He created it to capitalize on the alien sightings and raise money for a new combine harvester after his old one broke down. The attraction features alien-themed rides and entertainment, eventually becoming the site where Lu-La sends her distress signal.

The farmer's announcement of Farmageddon directly followed the media attention from the crop circles caused by Lu-La.

The egg-shaped device is an ejected component from Lu-La's spaceship that serves two purposes: it can reactivate the UFO's systems to fly, and it can be used to send a powerful distress signal to Lu-La's home planet To-Pa. Shaun discovers it can send a signal from a high altitude location.

The egg was shown being ejected from the UFO during the crash landing in Mossingham, making it a crucial element for the resolution.

After escaping MAD headquarters, Shaun and Lu-La retrieve the egg device and attempt to reboot the UFO. However, Shaun's curiosity leads him to impulsively push buttons inside the ship, causing it to malfunction and crash-land back at Mossy Bottom Farm, destroying the vessel and leaving Lu-La devastated.

Shaun's tendency to cause trouble was established earlier when he and the flock attempted risky stunts around the farm.

After the UFO is destroyed, Shaun realizes the egg device can send a distress signal if taken to a high point. With the flock's help, Shaun and Lu-La climb the Farmageddon tower, where they activate the signal. Lu-La's parents, Ub-Do and Me-Ma, respond to the call and arrive in their spaceship to take her home.

The tower's height was established as the main attraction of Farmageddon, making it the perfect location for sending a signal.

During the chaos of the rescue, the Farmer accidentally gets pulled aboard the alien UFO when it leaves Earth. The aliens realize he is aboard and kindly return him to Mossy Bottom Farm, where he arrives back just in time for the aftermath of the adventure.

The Farmer's presence near the spaceship during the final departure created the opportunity for his accidental abduction.

Agent Red helps the aliens because she recognizes them as the same beings she dreamed about as a child. This personal connection, combined with witnessing Lu-La's genuine kindness, transforms her from a hunter into an ally, and she welcomes the aliens to Earth.

Red's obsessive pursuit of alien proof was revealed to stem from childhood dreams of extraterrestrial encounters.

Shaun discovers Lu-La after following a trail of pizza crusts that the alien left behind. Hungry after being denied a barbecue, Shaun had ordered pizza, and Lu-La had been eating the toppings from inside the boxes, leaving only the crusts behind as her calling card.

The mysterious empty pizza boxes earlier in the film were the first hint that an alien was present on the farm.

The next day after the alien adventure, Shaun and the flock play frisbee which gets caught in the Farmer's new harvester, causing it to explode. This comedic ending reinforces the film's lighthearted tone and shows that life at Mossy Bottom Farm returns to its usual chaotic normal.

The farmer's purchase of a new harvester was funded by the successful Farmageddon attraction.
