Mark Cousins revisits his hometown of Belfast to examine how cinema has portrayed the region's tumultuous history. The film commemorates the 50th anniversary of the riots that ignited the thirty-year conflict known as The Troubles. Cousins explores the impact of division on Northern Ireland’s cinematic representation, while also reflecting on the decline of Belfast's once-thriving cinema scene, which was formerly among the highest in the UK.
