In the year 2190, the first human space colony, Europa One, is established, marking a monumental achievement in humanity’s quest for exploration. This colony heavily relies on the orbiting space station Pangea, which serves as a crucial refueling hub for interstellar missions.

A dedicated crew, including John Laine, Jackie Miller, Richard Valin, and Lisa Brown, embarks on a decade-long mission to ensure the operation of Pangea. At the outset, they work harmoniously, and Laine and Miller begin to form a romantic relationship during their time in space.

As their journey progresses, the crew members start to feel the effects of prolonged isolation. Laine suffers from nightmares, while Valin's mental well-being begins to deteriorate, creating tensions within the crew and jeopardizing their mission.

A sudden explosion unexpectedly strikes Pangea, forcing the crew to grapple with chaos and the fallout of the violent incident. Laine wakes to find Miller with him, delivering the harrowing news that Brown is severely injured and Valin appears to be in shock.

For an agonizing 62 hours, the astronauts attempt to contact Earth for help, only to be met with silence. This growing despair leads them to confront the chilling reality that their home planet may no longer exist.

With repairs complete, Laine prepares to approach Station Two, longing to reunite with Miller. Upon entering the quarters, he finds her alive, embodying the resilience and spirit of humanity that carried them through their harrowing ordeal.
