On the night before Jeff's important medical school interview, Miller pressures him to celebrate his birthday. Jeff initially declines, worried that partying could ruin his chances. After Miller threatens to make a scene all night, Jeff agrees to go out for just one drink.

In the bar, Jeff accidentally hits Randy with a dart, provoking Randy's aggression. The group realizes they are outmatched and flee the scene to avoid a bigger confrontation. Casey is chatting with Nicole when the trouble erupts.

Jeff drinks too much and becomes unresponsive, worrying his friends. Casey and Miller realize they don’t know Jeff's address and need someone who can help locate it. They decide to seek Nicole, hoping she can point them in the right direction.

The trio sneaks into what they think is Nicole's sorority house to find her, only to discover a different, female Latina-filled house. They encounter two blindfolded women during an initiation ritual and trigger the house's fury. In the chaos, Casey and Miller push Jeff from a balcony onto a pool cover, which bounces him into a rose garden; he survives with only thorn injuries.

Nicole can't provide an address, so she points them to her boyfriend Randy. Randy refuses to search the directory, prompting Miller to threaten him with the gun found in Jeff's pocket. He fires into the air, triggering a buffalo stampede that injures several people, including Randy.

They go to the old address, but the place is now hosting a party. In order to reach anyone who might know the current address, they have to participate in party games and blend in with the revelers. The atmosphere is chaotic as they search for the correct person.

From the party-goers, Miller and Casey learn there is a dark side to Jeff's past. They discover a gun on him and learn he was arrested for attempted murder and is viewed by some as a danger. The trio intensifies their search for the truth.

Two stoned students undress Jeff and glue a teddy bear to his groin, leaving him on the street. He runs away and is eventually arrested, the trio realizing their reckless night has spiraled out of control. The consequences of their actions begin to catch up with them.

They are lured toward the mental hospital by a trap, and the Latina women exact revenge by branding their buttocks and forcing them to walk across campus in only socks to fetch new clothes. The prank marks a turning point in the night’s chaos.

At the facility, they learn Jeff had attempted suicide with a gun that misfired and he's arrested for attempted murder. They smuggle him out, which requires throwing him from the third floor, raising the fear that they might have killed him—yet he survives. Jeff regains wakefulness and contemplates his safety.

Jeff wakes up on the run and steals the car they dropped him into. They flee together, and eventually retrieve Jeff's real address from his hospital file to finally determine where he lives. The tension is high as they try to reclaim some normalcy.

Casey and Miller help Jeff prepare for the medical interview, removing the teddy bear and tidying his appearance for a proper presentation. Jeff explains that his stress got out of control and that he is not suicidal, clarifying his intent to pursue medicine. Randy arrives to destroy the room, but his father intervenes and hits him; Jeff confesses to his father about parental pressure, which Miller supports by intervening, and Randy begins to reconcile with Jeff.

Miller, intelligent but underperforming, shows potential and wants to go to university. The night before the interview, he attends a music festival with Casey, Nicole, and Jeff, where he has a wild night and later arrives at his professor's place with a broken leg and red hair, revealing the odd man from the earlier night and tying the chaotic events together.
