2001: A Space Travesty

Dix, a special detective, saves a fast-food chain restaurant from a terrorist hostage situation. The police chief is displeased with his unorthodox methods. He drives away from the scene and heads back to the police station.

Back at the police station, Dix meets his boss as Cassandra Menage recounts her experience of a clone of the President. The unnamed president in the film remains a mystery to most characters, driving the investigation forward.

Dix is dispatched to the Moon base Vegan to investigate the cloning facility. On the way there, his actions cause mayhem, foreshadowing a chaotic approach to the mission. The journey sets the tone for the alien environment ahead.

Upon arrival at Vegan, Dix is greeted by Lt. Bradford Shitzu at the security check. Tensions run high as the team begins infiltrating the cloning operation. The uneasy first contact hints at the volatile alliance to come.

Dix experiences strange happenings within the colony and encounters aliens who inhabit Vegan. An alien threat appears to be on the verge of exploding, heightening danger and confusion around the mission.

Dix and Shitzu visit Dr. Griffin Pratt's quarters, where Pratt invites Dix on a tour of the cloning facility. Shitzu departs during the visit, leaving Dix in Pratt's company and deeper into the operation.

During the tour, Dix meets Dr. Uschi Künstler and they take an elevator toward Ms. Menage. Künstler later deserts them, forcing Dix and Pratt to continue their quest without her assistance.

Pratt and Menage share dinner while Dix experiences a bizarre escapade involving Pratt's toupe. After the meal, the group heads to a party where investigators may be found and secrets may surface.

Dix receives news that Pratt's quarters are about to be raided. He sabotages the setup by destroying a Vegan model and painting the room; a radio then blares the can-can, amplifying the chaos of the moment.

Pratt returns to his room and threatens Dix. Dix warns Ms. Menage, but Pratt's goons abduct her, complicating the rescue plan and trapping Dix and the President in a dangerous predicament.

Pratt pretends to help locate the President and Ms. Menage, but his goons trap Dix, the President, and Menage. Menage uses martial arts skills, and the trio escapes back to Earth, shaking off Pratt's pursuit.

Back on Earth, the President they rescued is revealed to be a clone, and Dix realizes he may have planted the clone in the White House. He also learns that his own boss is aligned with Pratt, adding a betrayal layer to the conspiracy.

Dix, the President, Menage, Valentino, Shitzu and Künstler attend a Three Tenors concert. The Presidents become involved in an onstage fight, and Shitzu's fumbling with the control panel ruins the performance.

Künstler is revealed to be an alien; Menage kills Künstler, ending the immediate threat. The President is replaced once more as the conspiracy frays at the edges.

With the crisis resolved, Menage and Dix head to a restaurant for a date, offering a quiet post-mission moment after the chaos. The film closes on a lighter note following the wild events.
