In 1957, aspiring songwriter Roger Radcliffe lives a solitary existence in a bachelor flat near Regent's Park in London. Accompanied by his pet Dalmatian, Pongo, Roger realizes they both need companions and embarks on a quest to find matches for themselves.

Looking for a mate, Pongo spots a woman named Anita along with her Dalmatian, Perdita. He excitedly pulls Roger to the park, facilitating a fortuitous meeting that blossoms into love between Roger and Anita.

After a whirlwind romance, Roger and Anita get married, solidifying their relationship in the presence of their beloved dogs, Pongo and Perdita. This joyful ceremony marks the beginning of their life together as a family.

The Radcliffes hire a nanny and move into a quaint townhouse near Regent's Park. This new chapter is ripe with excitement as they prepare for the future, particularly with the anticipation of Pongo and Perdita's puppies.

As Perdita becomes pregnant, excitement turns into anxiety when Cruella de Vil, Anita's fur-obsessed schoolmate, inquires about the puppies' arrival. Roger responds by humorously writing a song that mocks Cruella's intrusive interest.

When the puppies are born, Cruella reappears, aggressively demanding to purchase them. Roger firmly rejects her offer, which incites Cruella's wrath and a vow for revenge as she storms out, refusing to accept defeat.

Weeks later, Cruella hires Jasper and Horace, two burglars, to steal the puppies. Their criminal plot begins, igniting a race against time for Roger and Anita to protect their beloved pets.

When Scotland Yard is unable to locate the missing puppies, Pongo and Perdita engage the canine community using the 'Twilight Bark' to spread the word. This brings together dogs across London and eventually, all of England, in a heroic rescue effort.

On a nearby farm, Colonel and Sergeant Tibbs investigate reports of barking puppies. They discover Cruella's sinister plan to turn the puppies into fur coats, prompting them to take action to save the innocent pups.

With dire news, Pongo and Perdita escape and embark on a harrowing cross-country journey. They face treacherous terrain, including crossing an icy river and navigating through the snowy landscape toward Suffolk.

As danger looms, Tibbs orchestrates a daring escape for the puppies by helping them through a hole in the wall. However, their maneuver attracts the attention of the Baduns, leading to a tense chase.

In a climactic confrontation, Pongo and Perdita manage to break into Cruella’s hideout and confront Jasper and Horace. As the adult dogs fiercely defend their puppies, the Colonel and Tibbs guide the young ones to safety.

Reuniting with their own puppies, Pongo and Perdita are stunned to find an additional 84 puppies hiding in the house, prompting a decision to adopt them all. They know that their humans, Roger and Anita, would never refuse their adorable brood.

As the Radcliffe family embarks on their journey home, they face the fury of a blizzard while being pursued by the Baduns. With the help of friends along the way, they seek refuge to evade capture.

In a thrilling finale, Cruella and the Baduns attempt to ram the moving van carrying the Dalmatians off the road. Their plans backfire spectacularly, leaving them stranded in a ditch as Pongo and his family escape to safety.

The Radcliffes struggle to enjoy Christmas due to their recent troubles, but when the soot-covered Dalmatians return home, joy ensues. Rogers decides to use his new wealth to buy a country home for their extended family of 101 Dalmatians.
