Yamudiki Mogudu

Kaali is a small-town goon who helps his neighbors with his earnings. He is good at heart and is loved by everyone in town. He works for Kotayya, whose rival is Gollapudi.

While warning Gollapudi about trouble, Kaali meets Radha, Gollapudi's daughter, and instantly falls for her. Their budding affection grows despite the local tensions. The encounter sets the stage for a forbidden romance.

Kaali and Radha decide to marry, even without Gollapudi's consent, defying family opposition. The plan heightens the stakes as old loyalties and rivalries threaten their happiness. This bold decision seeds the key conflict of the tale.

Gollapudi engineers an accident aimed at Kaali, hoping to stop the marriage. Kaali is killed and ascends to Yamalokam, the realm of the dead. The event marks a brutal turning point that sends him to the afterlife.

To correct the mistake, Yama and Chitragupta descend to Earth in search of Kaali's body. They learn that Kaali's body has already been cremated, making a direct return impossible. This forces them to seek an alternative way to bring him back.

Kaali refuses to enter any body after learning his own has been cremated. The divine duo faces a stubborn spirit who is determined not to inhabit another vessel. Their search continues despite his reluctance.

Yama and Chitragupta present Kaali with a last option: inhabit a person who is identical to him, named Balu, living in a village. Kaali is warned that this choice will alter both lives and loyalties. The path has begun.
