After grizzly‑bear poacher Hanaghan murders her fiancé and fellow Fish & Wildlife officer, Julie Clayton hunts him, determined to learn why the FBI has concealed the case. She partners with Rollins, a police detective recently out of alcohol‑dependency rehab, as they pursue the elusive killer. The film underscores the hunter never leaves his prey wounded.
