When Santa Fell to Earth

Goblynch has outlawed magic and transformed the Christmas world into a harsh, money-driven regime. He pursues Santa to force him to work for his commercial Christmas company and do hard labor at the Christmas Palace. Goblynch wants to eliminate the traditional, magical aspects of Christmas entirely.

Earlier scenes establish Goblynch's control over the magical realm and his army of nutcrackers, making his pursuit of Santa a logical extension of his regime.

The mischievous reindeer Twinklestar bolted in the middle of a thunderstorm, causing Santa's caravan to plummet from the magical realm toward Earth. The caravan crashed in Foggy Lane during the storm, stranding Santa in the human world.

The escape from the Christmas Palace is already underway when Twinklestar suddenly runs, creating the crisis that brings Santa to Earth.

Twinklestar becomes invisible when crossing from the magical Christmas realm into the normal human world. This makes finding the reindeer extremely difficult, as he cannot be seen by humans unless they believe in magic.

The transition between realms is established when Santa's caravan breaches the boundaries between magical and human worlds during the crash.

In return for helping locate the missing reindeer Twinklestar, Santa promised Ben the best Christmas he has ever known. This bargain draws Ben from being an outsider into becoming a pivotal ally in the fight to save Christmas.

Ben's desire for belonging and a real home is established early, making Santa's promise particularly compelling to him.

Goblynch has banned work for all Santas and imprisoned the Christmas angels, turning the festive realm into a dark, corporate-style operation. He intends to replace the magical, wonder-filled Christmas with a greedy, profit-driven commercial regime.

The final confrontation looms as the team prepares to face Goblynch and defend Christmas on both worlds.

Charlotte is Ben's classmate who encounters Santa alongside him. Initially skeptical, her belief slowly softens as she witnesses the magic firsthand. She joins Ben and Santa on the quest to find Twinklestar, becoming an important ally in protecting Christmas.

Charlotte is introduced at the crash site when she and her dog Mutt cross paths with the stranded Santa.

Christmas is in danger because Goblynch's regime threatens to permanently strip away the magic and spirit of the holiday. If Santa is captured and forced to work in Goblynch's commercial operation, Christmas will become nothing more than a business of profit, losing all its wonder and meaning.
