Driven by a lifelong passion for country music, aspiring musician Wheeler leaves his hometown of Kaufman, Texas, and journeys to Nashville. Assuming the persona of a seasoned performer, he immerses himself in the city’s music scene, determined to forge his own path as a singer-songwriter. The film blends reality and fiction as Wheeler performs every note live and forms genuine connections with locals, blurring the lines between his fabricated identity and the creation of a musical legend.
