The film alternates between normal black‑and‑white footage and its negative, showing a nude couple embracing in bed and later clothed at home. Night scenes depict her watching his reflection, closing the drapes, then after sex they sit, smoke, drink coffee, kiss, smile, and light candles. Quick cuts, off‑kilter angles and shifting light—from dim to a search‑light effect—create a disorienting, intimate atmosphere.
