While editing her latest film, a filmmaker fills the long hours with a predictable string of casual sexual encounters, treating them as a distraction from her work. The pattern breaks when a man refuses to follow her rules, and she becomes strangely attracted to him. She struggles to keep control of her creative process and personal life, making the pull toward this defiant man all the more unsettling.
