After a decade together, Lori and Doug's relationship unexpectedly falls apart when he proposes shortly before her sister's wedding. To prevent overshadowing the ceremony, they pretend to still be a couple, maintaining a public display of unity. However, the strain of the deception, coupled with suppressed emotions and unexpected connections with other wedding guests, threatens to expose their fractured relationship.
