Sergeant Kwok Wah (Andy Lau) and his best‑friend colleague Ho Lung (Ray Lui) clash with gang leader Dick, who sends Hung (Cherie Chung) as bait to kill Ho Lung. After Ho Lung’s death, Kwok Wah allies with Ho’s partner Mother (Kent Cheng) to take down Dick. Kwok Wah saves Hung, who falls for him, but she is slain protecting him in a gunfight.
