Frankie Chan, both director and martial‑arts star, crafted an unofficial remake of Kinji Fukasaku’s 1978 classic SHOGUN’S SAMURAI. Transposing the story to contemporary Hong Kong, the film pits rival Chinese gangsters against one another as they vie for the top slot left open by the mysterious death of their boss.
