Sooraj Kaushik, a Mumbai gangster, attends a party where he first crosses paths with Radha Mathur. Their initial encounter is charged with curiosity and danger, hinting at the unlikely bond to come. The encounter plants the seed for a complicated relationship that defies their worlds.

Under his gangster father Pasha's orders, Sooraj pretends to be a police officer and abducts Radha. The ruse is swift and believable, and Radha's trust in the world around her is shattered. The kidnapping marks the start of Sooraj's double life as lover and henchman.

Radha is moved to an isolated location in Jammu with Suraj and his friends. They travel away from Mumbai as she grows unsure of what is happening to her. Over the days, she and Suraj start to see each other differently, beyond their initial roles.

In Jammu, Radha and Sooraj develop genuine feelings for each other contrary to their earlier roles. Their growing affection complicates the kidnapping plot. Back in Mumbai, Pasha uses the kidnapping to threaten Shrikant, Radha's father.

The police, led by Radha's brother Dheeraj, close in on the duo. In a desperate chase across a broken bridge, Sooraj is shot in the arm and they fall into the water. The world believes they are dead, fueling anger and vengeance from Pasha.

Radha and Sooraj are rescued by Buddhist monks after being presumed dead. Sooraj is severely injured and remains unconscious for a time, while Radha stays by his side. She confesses her feelings and asks him to surrender; Sooraj reveals his true role in the kidnapping, deepening their conflicted bond.

The couple returns to the city, but Shrikant confronts Sooraj at gunpoint to compel an end to the affair. The tension exposes the family rift and Radha's loyalty to both men. Sooraj's fate seems sealed as the revelation of his past life as a goon looms over him.

In a fatal turn during Pasha's trial, he is sentenced to two years in jail. The punishment deepens his resentment and fuels his desire for revenge against Sooraj and the Mathurs. The balance of power shifts as Sooraj contends with time behind bars.

To keep Radha away, Dheeraj orchestrates a plan involving Paris and a supposed blind date with his old friend Ranvijay. The deception hides Ranvijay's true nature as a smuggler who will later complicate the lovers' odds. This manipulation plants seeds for future conflict.

One and a half years later, the court reduces Sooraj's sentence for good behavior and he is released. With Radha's support and Dheeraj's help, he opens a fitness center to earn a living. The trio hopes to build a stable life away from Pasha’s shadow.

Ranvijay enters the scene and is welcomed into the family, while Dheeraj's wife introduces him. He is a smuggler who strikes a deal with Pasha to separate Sooraj and Radha. Slowly he wins the family’s approval, turning them against Sooraj.

Shrikant remains adamant about Radha's marriage to Sooraj, resisting the lovers' pleas. Ranvijay continues to manipulate the situation and drive a wedge between the families. Dheeraj watches as his plan spirals out of control.

Radha and Sooraj narrate their journey in a musical theatre performance for Shrikant and Dheeraj. Shrikant still refuses to accept Sooraj unless he betrays Pasha. Sooraj refuses to become a state witness, choosing love and loyalty over betrayal.

Ranvijay strikes first, stabbing Sooraj while Dheeraj is away. Pasha arrives, intent on killing Sooraj for betrayal; Radha pleads that Sooraj would rather go to prison than betray Pasha, and the two reconcile. Ranvijay and Pasha's men fight; Shrikant arrives and shoots Ranvijay, finally accepting Sooraj. Radha and Sooraj marry, sealing their long-awaited reunion.
