In this Indian romantic drama, Rohit is a dedicated law student and the son of Gupta, a respected judge. He proves his mettle in a thrilling flying-device contest by besting Rocky, a moment that quietly foreshadows the turbulent path ahead. At college Rohit crosses paths with Radhika, Rocky’s sister who shares the same campus, and a magnetic connection forms between them. As their friendship deepens, the pair navigate the campus’s bustling life, class schedules, and the growing pull toward something more than friendship, eventually leading to a sincere and unfolding romance between Rohit and Radhika.
trouble mounts when Rocky is caught cheating on an exam, threatens the invigilator, and slaps the principal, triggering serious consequences. A formal case is filed, and [Gupta] sentences Rocky to seven days in jail and expulsion from college. His mother and father keep Ryhthm hidden from [Radhika], shielding her from the fallout of Rocky’s punishment and the family’s tense dynamics. Meanwhile, a big family discussion unfolds as Radhika’s aunt Shobha arrives from Canada and shares her plan for Radhika to marry [Vicky] in the United States. Radhika, however, resists, telling her aunt that she is too young for such a step. Eventually, Rohit’s father and Mahendranath learn about their children’s love and agree to discuss a possible marriage, though Rohit remains unaware of the deeper implications at that moment.
Gupta returns home without meeting Mahendranath, because he has been attacked by Rocky—an act driven by fear that Radhika’s hand in marriage will be sealed with Rohit. Enraged, Rohit hurries to the hotel where the confrontation escalates, and Rocky falls from the rooftop to his death. The tragedy reframes the families’ plans, and Radhika’s parents decide to press ahead with marrying her to Vicky, blaming Rohit for the tragedy even as Rohit continues to pursue the woman he loves. To protect Radhika, her parents send her to Canada to stay with [Shobha], who is now involved in the family’s efforts to resolve the situation.
In Canada, Rohit’s luggage is stolen by the local hoodlum Rambhau, known as “Rambo.” The couple nevertheless locates each other in Canada, and Radhika escapes with Rohit, sparking a race against time as they search for a home while there are only ten days left before Radhika turns 18 and becomes able to consent to marriage. A twist of misdirection leads them to a house that Rambhau claims is his, only to discover that they have accidentally ended up in [Vicky]’s house, where Vicky promises help in their plan to wed on Radhika’s eighteenth birthday.
Shobha arrives again while Rohit and Radhika navigate the delicate balance of their secret romance. The countdown to Radhika’s birthday intensifies as Vicky pressures Rohit to stay away, and Radhika becomes increasingly wary of the mounting pressure from her parents and their ally. Vicky tears up photographs to drive Rohit away, leaving Radhika alone with the fear of being forced into an unwanted marriage. The tension peaks as Rohit is beaten, and a final decision looms: Radhika agrees to marry Vicky under pressure, but Rohit’s steadfast love persists in the background.
The couple’s bond is tested to the limit when Vicky declares that no one else can have Radhika if she won’t marry him. He shoots, and a chase ensues with a helicopter in tow. Radhika is wounded in the shoulder, and Rohit resorts to a daring move on a jet ski, bringing Vicky’s helicopter down. Rohit finds a wounded Radhika and, after she regains consciousness, the two choose to flee their hostile surroundings. They return to India, where [Gupta] welcomes them with a band party, signaling a hopeful, if unconventional, union that has endured immense hardship and returned them to a community ready to celebrate their marriage.
