The story starts on Earth and expands into space as Mikako heads toward the Sirius Solar System. She travels first to Agartha, a fictional fourth planet in that system, where the main conflict unfolds. The Lysithea carrier prowls through deep space, staging battles against the Tarsians and linking distant worlds through a web of communications.
