After a psychiatric episode, twenty‑year‑old Ariel Lambert is sent to recover in a quiet setting. He, his mother and sister relocate to Villa Mar, a nearly abandoned seaside resort in winter. There, Ariel learns that children who enter a nearby, supposedly derelict house never emerge. Unsure whether the phenomenon is real or a product of his fragile mind, he decides to confront the mystery by entering the house himself. The bleak, empty town amplifies his isolation, heightening the suspense.
