Weeks pass and Veena runs off with her boyfriend, defying her father's plans for an arranged match. Parasuram's control over family matters weakens, and Time watches these tensions unfold. The disruption jeopardizes his fragile stability at home.

Arun returns home claiming he has lost his job and reveals a live-in relationship with an Indian American woman who introduces herself as Mahalakshmi. Parasuram confronts the situation, while Time records the consequences of his interference. The family atmosphere grows tenser as secrets emerge.

Time reveals that Venugopal is the son of Madhanagopal, whom Parasuram cheated years ago to secure the job. The revelation explains Venugopal's ascent. Time also recalls Sathya, Parasuram's former lover, who became Governor of Meghalaya after he abandoned her.
