Venom: Let There Be Carnage

In 1996, Frances Barrison is removed from the St. Estes Home for Unwanted Children and sent to the Ravencroft Institute. This relocation is due to the dangerous escalation of her powers, prompting authorities to confine her in a facility meant for the criminally insane.

During her transfer to the Ravencroft Institute, Frances unleashes a powerful sonic scream, which injures police officer Patrick Mulligan. This incident crucially impacts Mulligan, leading him to believe he has caused her death.

Fast forward to the present, Detective Mulligan seeks the assistance of investigative journalist Eddie Brock. Mulligan believes that the incarcerated Cletus Kasady, on death row, may reveal the locations of his victims' remains to Brock.

Eddie Brock visits Cletus Kasady in prison, unaware that Kasady's communication is intended for Frances, not him. During this visit, Kasady cryptically shares hints about his victims, leading Brock to make a significant discovery.

Brock's alien symbiote, Venom, deciphers Kasady's drawings, leading them to a gruesome discovery at Rodeo Beach, California. This marks a pivotal moment in Brock's career as he uncovers hidden bodies linked to Kasady.

While navigating his professional challenges, Brock faces personal strife as his ex-fiancée, Anne Weying, announces her engagement to Dr. Dan Lewis. This news frustrates Venom, who expresses a desire for brains instead of chocolates.

Cletus Kasady, facing his execution, invites Eddie Brock to witness his last moments while recounting the grisly acts he has committed. He shares the dark tale of his life, intertwined with his love for Frances which becomes a central theme.

After provoking Venom during a visit, Kasady bites Brock, assimilating a fragment of the symbiote. This leads to a fierce conflict between Brock and Venom, resulting in Venom leaving him and causing considerable chaos.

As Kasady's execution progresses, a new red symbiote named Carnage is born from him, initiating a violent rampage within the prison. Carnage seeks revenge, freeing inmates and targeting the prison guards while uniting with Kasady.
