Abi and Priya return from Dubai to Kerala and decide to stay in Priya's childhood home in the hills, seeking a break from their jobs. They begin adjusting to the quiet and isolation of the hillside property.

Priya becomes suspicious of the contractors working on the land and senses that the surrounding villagers are ogling or watching them. Abi notices her growing unease but tries to reassure her.

After their wedding anniversary, Priya spots a shadow watching them from a window, but the figure disappears when Abi wakes. The sense of menace intensifies as the couple remain in the house.

The next day, Priya is about to take a bath and spots a man staring at her through the window. She screams, heightening the sense of danger.

Abi spots a worker on the upper grounds and reacts quickly, sealing the window with duct tape and newspaper to prevent a break-in. The couple grows increasingly paranoid about who might be watching them.

Abi has to meet a designer for their startup; Priya stays home, promising to go to the convent after Abi leaves. She locks the house and walks to the convent library, seeking a quiet refuge away from the contractors and neighbors.

While at the convent library, Priya is hit by a jeep connected to ill-intentioned neighbours. She is left unconscious and taken to the hospital.

Abi returns home to find the house locked and learns from the estate caretaker Benny that Priya has been hospitalized. He goes to the hospital, but Priya leaves the hospital abruptly, without explanation, after his arrival.

Priya confronts Abi and reveals that she has been sexually molested, expressing that she no longer feels safe living with Abi in the hills or anywhere else. She resolves to leave and seek safety elsewhere.

Abi encounters Preman and his mother; Preman explains how Preman was caught with the contractor's daughter Sandra in the bushes that day, triggering a vendetta from the contractor's family.

Abi refuses to surrender Preman and tells the men they can find him tomorrow at the police station. The confrontation escalates as Josey and Johnny press their bid, and Abi grabs a butcher's knife to defend his family. He locks them out and moves Priya, Preman, and Preman's mother into a safe room inside the house.

Abi rigs the house to electrocute intruders and uses a torch flame from an LPG cylinder to burn those who breach the defenses. The attackers are driven back, but the fight continues deep into the night, with Abi and Priya holding out together.

In the morning, the contractor catches Abi off guard and a struggle ensues as they aim a gun at him. Priya emerges with the mother and son to surrender, and she fires at two perpetrators, creating an opening. Abi seizes the moment, knocks down Josey, and informs him that the police will handle them.

After the chaotic events, Abi narrates to Josey about how the law is still valid in the region. Two weeks later, Abi locks the gate with a plaque reading Trespassers will be shot as a final statement before the end credits roll.
