Through an experimental narrative, Benning reconstructs the sensational and controversial story of Lorencia Bembenek—known as “Bambi”—a former Playboy bunny who became a police officer, was later convicted of murder, escaped from prison, and vanished. The film tracks Benning’s growing obsession with Bembenek via their real letters, heard in voice‑over, illustrating his shift from curiosity to a love‑filled fixation.
