Urban Legends: Bloody Mary

On November 5, 1969, three high school football players drug and kidnap their prom-night dates. The football captain chases Mary Banner into a storage room, punches her, and locks her body inside a trunk. She awakens later, still trapped, and ultimately dies inside the trunk, sealing a brutal secret in the town's past.

During a sleepover, Samantha, Martha, and Mindy jokingly invoke Bloody Mary. The ritual unsettles the girls and foreshadows that something sinister has been awakened in their town. The mood shifts from playful to uneasy as a dark thread begins to pull at the present-day events.
