Unit 234

Laurie Saltair, a young woman with degrees in Fine Arts and Philosophy, works the night shift at her family's desolate storage facility after her father's illness. She is accustomed to the long, quiet nights filled with minimal activity, mice noises, and flickering lights, which have become her routine during her solitary work hours.

One stormy evening, a tense man in a gray hoodie arrives at the facility, insisting on accessing an unopened, sealed unit numbered 234. Laurie refuses his request, sensing his nervousness, and he eventually leaves after becoming aggressive. Her curiosity is piqued by the mysterious visit.

Laurie checks the system and finds that Unit 234 has no record despite being visible on camera. She examines the facility and finds a heavily padlocked, hidden space at the furthest wing, which she then forcefully opens out of curiosity.

Inside Unit 234, Laurie discovers Clayton, a man strapped to a gurney within a refrigerated cargo crate. He is unconscious, injured, and has a surgical wound on his side showing signs of a kidney removal. The scene suggests a gruesome medical operation.

Laurie tries to contact the police but fails due to a storm knocking out reception. She quickly drags Clayton out of the unit, locks it again, and prepares to escape, but her actions alert a armed gang arriving in a black van. The gang's intrusion begins a tense confrontation.

The gang, consisting of cold, surgical-looking criminals led by Cruz, enters the facility with the goal of retrieving Clayton alive for his second kidney. Their arrival introduces a brutal and dangerous threat, highlighting the organ trafficking ring's ruthlessness.

Using her knowledge of the facility, Laurie sets traps like dropped shelves and baited alarms to hinder the gang's progress. She hides Clayton, setting up a tense game of cat-and-mouse as she fights to survive and protect him from the intruders.

During the chaos, Ryder gets caught in a trap and is killed when a security shutter crushes him. Kyle finds Clayton's blood trail but is knocked back by Laurie, suffering severe injuries. Laurie continues to fight, showing her resilience amidst chaos.

Maria pursues Laurie through underground power tunnels. Laurie manages to fight her off by stabbing her with a curtain rod and killing her after a brutal knife fight that results in Maria's death, all while trying to escape alive.

Laurie is captured and chained to the gurney where Clayton was held. Cruz plans to harvest her kidney, but Laurie, using a mirror shard, injures Cruz and fights back, ultimately stabbing him to stop his gruesome plans.

Police investigate the horrific scene, uncovering the secret medical operation hidden within the storage facility. Laurie, battered and bloodied, gives her statement, realizing she has survived something monstrous and will never be the same.
