Produced in 1947, the American animated cartoon was directed by Tex Avery and parodies Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin. It is Avery’s second spoof of the novel, after his 1937 Warner Bros. cartoon Uncle Tom’s Bungalow.
