Uncharted

The film opens with Nathan Drake hanging awkwardly outside a plane, entangled in fallen cargo. As he attempts to climb back inside, he evades rushing henchmen and more falling debris until he is struck by a car that tumbles out of the plane's ramp.

Fifteen years earlier, young Nate and his brother Sam break into a Boston museum to steal a treasure map believed to lead to hidden gold. Their heist goes awry when security catches them, resulting in Sam being expelled from the orphanage they live in.

As Sam prepares to leave, he reassures Nate that he will come back for him. He gifts Nate a ring belonging to their ancestor, Francis Drake, which carries the inscription 'Sic Parvis Magna,' symbolizing a bond of hope and adventure.

In the present day, Nate works as a bartender, where he showcases his pickpocketing skills by stealing a bracelet from a wealthy patron. His actions catch the eye of Victor 'Sully' Sullivan, a seasoned fortune hunter.

Sully meets with Nate to reveal connections to Sam and the treasure they sought. They discuss Magellan’s voyage and Sully’s past endeavors with Sam, leading Nate to reconsider an adventure to find the lost gold.

To acquire one of the keys to the treasure, Nate and Sully participate in an auction for a golden cross. Chaos ensues as Nate creates a diversion to help Sully secure the cross while evading the henchmen pursuing them.

In Barcelona, Nate and Sully meet with Chloe Frazer, who has the second cross. However, Chloe steals it, prompting a chase where Nate tries to remind her of her need for teamwork to find the treasure.

The trio discovers a secret passage beneath a church, but a booby trap nearly endangers them. After evading capture by henchmen, they make their way deeper into unexplored areas, leading to more adventure.

Inside an underground chamber, Nate and Chloe find giant urns, discovering they only contain salt instead of gold. They uncover a map hidden within the salt, which leads them to the Philippines, but Chloe duplicitously takes the map from Nate.

Sully confides in Nate about Sam's fate at the hands of Braddock, revealing that he had to abandon Sam during an ambush. This revelation creates tension between the two, leading Nate to storm off in anger.

Nate and Sully stow away on Moncada's plane, which is intercepted by Braddock's crew. In a shocking twist, Braddock betrays Moncada, leading to a confrontation that forces Nate and Sully to jump from the plane.

After escaping the plane, Nate and Chloe wash ashore an island resort. While reviewing the map, Nate comes up with a trick to reveal its secrets and plans his next move to outsmart Chloe.

Nate, Sully, and Chloe find the treasure inside two wrecked ships located in a cavern. As they celebrate their discovery, Braddock’s crew arrives, leading to a chaotic confrontation over the massive treasure.

In a climactic battle, Sully decides between saving Nate and securing the gold. He ultimately chooses to save Nate, leading to an epic showdown where Braddock falls to her demise after a final betrayal.

The film concludes with Nate and Sully flying away, having secured a portion of the gold. They taunt Chloe, who had been tricked, hinting at future adventures ahead as Sam's survival is teased in a mid-credits scene.
